==Plot==
The movie is about Ilangovan, aka Ilango ([[Parthiban]]), a middle-class youth who dreams to get his sister Kavitha ([[Mallika (actress)|Mallika]]) married to a millionaire. He is very keen on becoming rich and falls in love with Roopa ([[Lakshmi Rai]]), daughter of a rich industrialist. Now and then, Ilango comes across Chellappa ([[Vadivelu]]), a petty thief, and takes him for a fun ride. A sequence of events makes Ilango realize that money is not everything in life. He, with Chellappa's help, finally works to get his sister married to the boy that she loves.

== Plot ==
Samayan gets a call from an anonymous person saying that he will die in one week. Then, a cat and mouse game begins between Samayan and the caller. After some time, the caller is revealed to be Saravana as he wanted to kill Samayan for raping and killing his daughter a few years back when Saravana was at work. At the end, Samayan and his allies trap Saravana and try to kill him, but Saravana escapes and kills all the allies. Samayan escapes but is stopped by Saravana, who has a shovel in his hands. Samayan is defeated, and whilst being buried alive by Saravana, he asks him who he is. Saravana says nothing and buries him. The movie ends with Saravana and his wife Maha going to their daughter's grave and Saravana leaving flowers on the grave.

== Plot ==
Pughazhenthi Subramaniam ([[Atharvaa]]) is an athlete who lives in [[Thanjavur]]. He is a [[Hurdling|hurdles]] race champion and has won many awards – even beating the national record in a local sports meet. He and his fellow athlete friends get intensive training from their coach Devaraj ([[Aadukalam Naren]]) to participate in an important sports meet in [[Kolkata]], the winners of which will qualify for the next major national sports event.

A flashback reveals that Pughazh has [[Glanzmann's thrombasthenia]], which prevents his blood from clotting following any injury. If he gets even a small scratch, he might bleed to death. His father Subramaniam ([[Jayaprakash]]) is a [[constable]] at the local police station who is very protective of him, has high hopes that he will advance well in life, and make a name for himself as an athlete.

Gayathri Venugopal ([[Sri Divya]]), a college student who lives in Chennai, finds out that her friend is being harassed on the phone every night by a guy. Gayathri decides to take action by calling him up and threatening him in foul language. However, due to a mix-up, she ends up calling Pughazh in Thanjavur instead. The next day, she realizes her mistake and apologizes to Pughazh on the phone. As a joke, he asks her to top up his mobile phone account, and she quickly does so to make up for it. He then pesters her successfully for several days day for further credit for his mobile phone account until he introduces himself and tells her that he will not call and annoy her anymore. Even though they both have not seen each other's faces before, Gayathri realizes that she likes him and initiates their next communication.

The [[Calcutta]] sports meet gets unexpectedly relocated to [[Chennai]] instead. Hence, Devaraj decides to go to Chennai with Pughazh and the rest of the team a few days early and train there, which was perfect for Pughazh to make plans to meet up with Gayathri. Gayathri's brother Dinesh Venugopal ([[Thirumurugan (actor)|Thirumurugan]]) gets involved in an counterfeit money scam and calls the cops on the criminal gang who manufactures the currency notes without revealing his identity. The right-hand man in the criminal gang falls for Gayathri when he sees her. The leader of the gang goes to Gayathri's house to speak to her parents to get her married off to his favorite henchman, but Dinesh intervenes and threatens to go to the police, in the process revealing that he is the one who called the cops on the gang.

The gang decides to murder Dinesh. When the henchmen are chasing Dinesh, he gets a lift from Pughazh, who is on his way to meet Gayathri on his bike, lying to him that his sister is in the hospital. Due to stress, Dinesh forgets to thank Pughazh when he gets dropped off, but the gang members get a good look at Pughazh, thinking that he intentionally helped Dinesh escape. They find Pughazh, who is still on his way to meet Gayathri, and try to beat him up. However, he fights back and beats them up without getting a scratch on him. During the fight, he hurls one of the gang members, who accidentally falls on Gayathri, who is also in her way to see Pughazh. She gets knocked off her [[TVS Scooty|scooty]], and her side mirror breaks. She calls Pughazh's mobile just as he is finishing off the fight. They both see each other for the first time. Pughazh immediately gets a liking to her and her beauty, but Gayathri gets upset, thinking that he is a rowdy.

Pughazh is still able to get in the good books of Gayathri and Dinesh by seeing them again during Gayathri's birthday. She invites him to his house, where on Gayathri gets more romantically involved with Pughazh. Meanwhile, after further altercations, the gangsters track and kill Dinesh. In retaliation to Pughazh's beating of the gangsters, they beat Devaraj, who tries to get help from the police. The [[Deputy commissioner of police (India)|DCP]] gives a gun to Pughazh hidden from everyone so that he can once for all finish the gangs activities using Pughazh's motivated intentions to save Devaraj. He is tracked again by the gangsters, who try to harm his friends and Devaraj, but Pughazh fights them off and finally kills them with the gun that he has hidden in his shoes. The next day, he enters the competition, but a fake athlete planted by the gangsters earlier inflicts a cut on his arm. He still runs through the hurdles and ends up unconscious as he crosses the finish line. The final tally shows him winning the hurdles race in a photo finish ending by .01 seconds. The final scenes show Gayathri as his wife watching Pughazh winning the gold medal in the Asian games, following which he also gets the post of [[Deputy Superintendent of Police|DSP]] in Thanjavur.

==Plot==
Alaudin ([[Prabhu Deva]]) is a slum man and orphan with a golden heart who fights against injustice faced by his fellow slum dwellers. The people of Alli Kuppam bring him up. To fulfil the day-to-day needs of the poor, Alaudin decides to steal from rich people. His main enemy is the scheming and powerful Gangadhar ([[Raghuvaran]]). During one of his attempts to steal in Gangadhar's house, Alaudin witnesses a murder committed by Gangadhar and gets some implicating evidence: a blood-soaked knife and a cut right thumb of Gangadhar. He cleverly uses this situation and starts blackmailing Gangadhar to accomplish all of Alli Kuppam's needs. Gangadhar becomes his golden goose, his magic lamp, which does his every proposition. Preethi ([[Ashima Bhalla]]) is Gangadhar's manager's daughter, and she falls for Alaudin. All efforts to catch Alaudin fail. In the final move, Gangadhar plans carefully, traps Alaudin, and shoots him at point-blank range. A chance look at the chain worn by Alaudin brings the necessary twist to the story. To his shock, Gangadhar realizes Alaudin is his son who was mistaken to be murdered 25 years ago. The saved Alaudin refuses to accept his father's request to stay back with him and takes a promise that he should not reveal the secret to anyone and that he wants to go back to the Kuppam.

However, to nab an international mafia gang led by Daddy ([[Mahesh Manjrekar]]), Vishwanath sends Malli undercover to the mafia gang, and the latter turns a trusted worker for Daddy. Daddy almost believes Malli is his right hand. With the help of Malli, Vishwanath and his team tries to corner Daddy and his gang but could not arrest them due to lack of evidence. Meanwhile, Malli falls in love with Dr. Mahalakshmi ([[Mamta Mohandas]]). He takes him to his ailing mother, who was in the hospital. At this juncture, Daddy reveals that his person was in the police department when he is cornered by Vishwanath's team without evidence. Chandrashekhar aka Chandu ([[J. D. Chakravarthy]]), who is also a cop, was raised by Daddy. Chandu is in love with his new neighbor Satya ([[Madhurima Tuli]]). He is also the one who was helping Daddy's gang. At the same time, Vishwanath also tells Daddy that his man was also with Daddy's gang, so both the teams break their heads to find out the black sheep, but they could not do so. Malli once visits the hospital, and doctors tell him that he should keep his mother happy always. Malli reveals his identity, but his mother does not believe it. To prove his words correct, Malli tells Vishwanath to visit his mother once. At the same time, Daddy's gang attacks the building, and in the melee, Vishwanath dies. After a few days, Chandu, in order to escape from the blackmailing tactics of Daddy, shoots him to death in an encounter. While continuing in its discussion, it specifically commends Jagapathi Babu and Mahesh Manjrekar for their performances. He then, went on to record his maiden song "O Maria" for the film ''[[Kadhalar Dhinam]]'' along with [[Yugendran]]. Devan's second huge hit came in his short piece mellifluous rendition in "Ore Nyabagam" from ''[[Minnale]]'' (2001) composed by [[Harris Jayaraj]]. Thereafter he sang many popular tracks in Tamil and Telugu films under the compositions of [[Ilayaraja]], [[Vidyasagar (composer)|Vidhyasagar]], [[Deva (music director)|Deva]], [[Yuvan Shankar Raja]], [[Karthik Raja]] and others. == Early history ==
Born on 28 July 1907, Avichi Meiyappan hailed from a Nattukottai [[Nagarathar]] family of [[Karaikudi|Karaikkudi]] in Tamil Nadu. Avichi [[Chettiar]] ran a mini-department store, named AV & Sons. It sold gramophone records. Meiyappan, who joined his father's shop even as a teenager, decided to produce gramophone records instead of merely marketing them. He came to Madras where along with friends K. S. Narayana Iyengar, Subbaiah [[Chettiar]] and others promoted Saraswathi Stores. He found excellent support in K. P. Varadachari, its manager, and his lawyer friend Thoothukudi Govindachari Raghavachari he produced many records.

=== Maiden venture ===

The dawn of the talkie era (1931) inspired Meiyappan to start Saraswathi Sound Productions and he launched his maiden movie venture, Alli Arjuna a Hindu mythology based movie. The film was shot in [[Kolkata|Calcutta]] and proved a total flop as the one that followed named [[Ratnavali]]. At this point, an aspiring amateur actor and college graduate A. T. Krishnaswamy joined the unit as assistant director who was associated with Meiyappan for nearly a decade and wrote and directed the early AVM productions.

The reverses forced Meiyappan to lie low but only for a while. In association with Jayanthilal, a cinema house owner based in [[Bangalore]], he promoted a new company Pragati Pictures Limited. Grabbing an opportunity that came his way, AVM made [[Nandakumar (film)|Nandakumar]], Tamil version of a Marathi film launching it as a Pragati production. The highlight of this movie was the debut of [[T. R. Mahalingam (actor)|T. R. Mahalingam]] in to Tamil movie Industry.

The film was a landmark because for the first time playback singing was tried, with Lalitha Venkatraman singing for the actor who played Devaki. Meiyappan took the sprawling Club House off Mount Road on lease and shot scenes without going to studios and erecting sets. Soon after he shifted his unit to another sprawling edifice known as Admiralty House in Adyar.

In 1940, Meiyappan produced ''[[Bhookailas (1940 film)|Bhoo Kailas]]'', a [[Telugu language|Telugu]] mythological film which created history. Its lead players were from Telugu and Kannada cinema, and was directed by [[Sundar Rao Nadkarni]], a Mangalorean who had his training in Bombay. The film turned out to be a big hit and also won critical acclaim! Meiyappan struck gold with comedy next. ''[[Sabapathy (1941 film)|Sabapathy]]'' (1941) with the saucer-eyed [[T. R. Ramachandran]] in the lead, along with [[Kali N. Rathnam]] and [[K. Sarangapani]] was a runaway success. Then came a series of hits like [[En Manaivi]], [[Harishchandra]] (1943), [[Sri Valli (1945 film)|Sri Valli]].

The city of [[Madras]] began to feel the strains of the [[World War II]] raging on elsewhere and to reduce the exposure from Japanese bombing, Meiyappan moved his facilities to [[Karaikudi]]. In the outskirts of the town karaikudi he occupied a drama auditorium with a large open area around it on long lease and erected a studio. Thus was born AVM Productions with [[AVM Studios]].

Hits like [[Nam Iruvar]] (1947), [[Andha Naal]] (1954), and the National Award-winning [[Hum Panchhi Ek Daal Ke]] (1957) followed.

== Plot ==
The film starts with Narasimha ([[Nandamuri Balakrishna]]) traveling across Karnataka, Kerala looking for peace with his son and ends up in Tamil Nadu after finding the places not suitable for raising his son. In Kumbakonam, he visits the temple on Radhasaptami day looking for a job. The priest is unintentionally touched by the baby, who picks up a discussion with Narasimha, and it is ended by the temple secretary Dharmakarta ([[Murali Mohan]]). The temple secretary then offers a job to Narasimha at his house as a driver. There are around 12 workers in the house along with Narasimha, Raju Reddy ([[Brahmanandam]]), and his wife ([[Mamilla Shailaja Priya|Priya]]). Meanwhile, the city kingpin Kaniyappan ([[Prabhakar (Telugu actor)|Prabhakar]]) meets up with the ACP (Kartar Cheema) who is sincere yet corrupt and arrogant. One day, Dharamkarta's daughter Dhanya ([[Natasha Doshi]]) drives home taking drugs and catches Narasimha's attention. The next day, Kaniyappan and his men create a ruckus explaining that the car that Dhanya drove last night created an accident and his brother was the victim and he is out for vengeance. Narasimha takes the blame and gets beaten up, which makes Dhanya fall for him.

Meanwhile, Central Minister JP ([[Jaya Prakash Reddy]]) visits the temple and insults the chief priest ([[L. B. Sriram]]), where the ACP raises a hand against him. This results in a Brahmin agitation, where they demand an apology from the ACP. Narasimha enters the scene with the secretary and resolves it. This is telecasted by media and is attended by the main villain Thota Rami Reddy ([[Ashutosh Rana]]). Meanwhile, the ACP, being humiliated, tries to create a feud between Kaniyappan and Narasimha by killing the latter's brother. Kaniyappan, knowing the truth, sends his men to bring the son of ACP, who is a lookalike of Narasimha's son. Thinking his own son is at risk, Narasimha unleashes his other side of the villains, rescuing the baby, only to know that the ACP is the father and that Gauri ([[Nayanthara]]) is the mother. The next day, Narasimha warns Kaniyappan and being confronted by Dhanya, he reveals his past.

Narasimha an orphan is befriended by Gauri at school. She is the daughter of the school headmaster ([[Prakash Raj]]). Narasimha is debarred from school after he picks up a fight. He grows up and has his own mechanic shed along with doing justice in the city. Along with that, the love between Gauri and Narasimha increases. One day while passing the traffic, Narasimha encounters Rami Reddy's son holding traffic for his MP seat. This results in the death of a labored woman, and Narasimha teaches him a lesson without allowing him to attend his nomination. This results in humiliation by JP, who offers his daughter's hand. Losing prestige, the son commits suicide, which enrages Rami Reddy, who takes revenge by destroying one of Narasimha's associates', Manga's ([[Hariprriya]]), marriage. Narasimha brings him to justice and is given a death sentence by the judge ([[K. S. Ravikumar]]). Meanwhile, Gauri forces Narasimha to marry him and talk to her father, who recognizes him and says that his ways would not suit for his daughter's hand. Out of respect for his master, Narasimha sacrifices his love. However, Gauri takes it seriously and escapes and makes it to his shed to marry him secretly.

Understanding the whole situation, Narasimha gets back to the shed by marrying Manga. The actual twist in the tale happens now, when Narasimha and the couple give birth to twins, with Manga dead after giving birth. On the other side, Gauri loses her son in pregnancy. Unable to hear his Master's pain, Narasimha sacrifices one son to her and leaves with the other and ends up in Kumbakonam. Back at present, Rami Reddy escapes with his goons while going to court and unites with Kaniyappan to kill Narasimha. Kidnapping the ACP couple lures Narasimha into the dockyard. Narasimha bashes up everyone and kills Kaniyappan before hanging Rami Reddy, but during a shootout, the ACP couple is wounded along with their son. The doctors are able to save the couple but not the baby as the bullet had hit the baby's head. Unable to bear the truth, once again the master laments, which makes Narasimha give away the other baby and walk away with the dead baby corpse in his hand, assuring to the master that he will be there whenever the couple is in danger.

==Plot==
Radha ([[Roja (actress)|Roja]]) is the daughter of the wealthy [[Non-resident Indian and person of Indian origin|NRI]] Viswanathan ([[Kalyan Kumar]]) who resides in the United States. Radha brought up in [[Chennai]] by her father's friend Manikandan ([[Janagaraj]]). Radha is in love with another man Gautham ([[Bhanu Chander]]). Her father finds a groom in the USA for her and wants his daughter to marry him, but Radha decides to marry her lover Gautham against the wishes of her father. Manikandan supports her will and helps them to get married. When her boyfriend finds out that she will be disinherited, he ditches her at the marriage registrar office.

Shortly after her father decides to retract his disapproval and to spend a fortnight's vacation with his daughter and his new son-in-law in his estate near a tribal community where Sundaram ([[R. Sundarrajan (director)|R. Sundarrajan]]) is the chief. Because her father is already ill and because this may be his last vacation, Radha and Manikandan want to make it as happy for him as possible. They decide to conceal the fact that her boyfriend dumped her.

Manikandan hires the small-time crook Kannan ([[Sathyaraj]]) to play the part of the husband for a fortnight. What transpires next forms the rest of the story.

==Plot==

Dasari Sivaji, a stage artist by profession, runs an organization called Sarada Sadan to help destitute children. One day, he rescues a girl named Gayatri from goons. Sivaji later gets a call from Gayatri, and when he looks at her phone screen, he realizes that it is Shaarada. Sivaji then finds out that Gayatri is his long-lost daughter. He comes to her college graduation, where she says that she does not know how her father looks but only knows that he is a heartless brute as he sold her for 1,000 rupees in order to buy a bottle of liquor. Sivaji is distraught and later walks away to a temple. Gayatri is later told by Sivaji's friend Prasad that Sivaji is her father. Prasad hands Sivaji's diary to Gayatri, and she learns about Sivaji's past.

A young Sivaji is an orphan who found his calling in acting. He falls in love with Shaarada and marries her. One day, he fights some goons led by the MLA of their caste. Shaarada then talks to Sivaji and says that she would like to see him as a hero and not a rowdy. However, one day, Shaarada dies. The doctor tells Sivaji that she is suffering from pelvic cancer and that he has to arrange a large amount of money to finance her treatment. Giri, Sivaji's friend, tells Sivaji that a man was refused bail and that if Sivaji goes to jail for two days, the amount will be paid. Later, a drunk Giri confesses to Sivaji that Shaarada and her daughter, whom she was pregnant with, passed away. Sivaji gets upset and tries to end his life by having a train hit him. Giri saves him but loses his life while doing so. Before Giri dies, he reveals that the baby was alive and that he thought of selling the baby for a bottle of liquor. The baby, Gayatri, grew up in Ramanujam Orphanage. On her birthday, she is gifted with a photo of her mother Shaarada, who died as soon as she delivered her.

The film goes back to the present, where Gayatri and Prasad go to Sivaji's house to try to find him, but to no avail. Sivaji is still at the temple, but he gets hit on the head and captured by goons. Gayatri and Prasad then go to the temple but do not find Sivaji. The goons who captured Sivaji turn out to be the henchmen of his lookalike, Gayatri Patel. Sivaji later meets Gayatri Patel in person. Soon after, Gayatri Patel soon gets arrested and sentenced to the death penalty for burning down a hospital, but Sivaji gets implicated in the case. Sivaji confesses to a police officer that he is Sivaji and not Gayatri Patel, but the police officer knew that he was Sivaji. Gayatri Patel calls Sivaji and tells him that the former's death sentence was because a girl was a witness to the crime, and that girl was none other than Gayatri. Gayatri Patel now wants to kill Sivaji.

Gayatri Patel (as Sivaji) then comes to Gayatri's house, where Gayatri apologizes to "him" for misunderstanding him. While Sivaji (as Gayatri Patel) is in jail, news reporter Shreshta Jayaram tells him that Gayatri Patel has gone to his house disguised as him. At Gayatri's house, Shreshta later interviews her and Gayatri Patel. While interviewing Gayatri Patel (as Sivaji), Shreshta secretly tells Gayatri that her "father" is Gayatri Patel and not Sivaji. However, Gayatri accuses Shreshta of calling her "father" an impostor. Meanwhile, Sivaji (as Gayatri Patel) is sentenced to the death penalty. In jail, Sivaji tells Shreshta that his last wish is to watch Sivaji's acting. Many people want Sivaji to fulfill Gayatri Patel's wish. However, Gayatri Patel wants to replace Sivaji and asks his lawyer to book his flight to the US. As Gayatri Patel and Gayatri are in the car, the news reports say that Sivaji is ignoring Gayatri Patel's plea. Gayatri Patel (as Sivaji) is then questioned by numerous people, and Gayatri begs Gayatri Patel to do the wish. Gayatri Patel then does so and is lauded with applause.

Gayatri and Gayatri Patel then visit the jail, where Sivaji is there. Gayatri then reunites with him. The jailer realizes Sivaji's humanitarian nature and decides to have Gayatri Patel hanged. While Sivaji and Gayatri are leaving, Gayatri Patel attacks Sivaji, and both get into a fight. The police are not able to distinguish between the two men. Soon, Gayatri is able to shoot Gayatri Patel. The film ends with Sivaji and Gayatri leaving the jail.

Deepak cannot concentrate on studies because his father is making love with his wife in front of him at night. The students' only aim is having fun in class and making fun of teachers. The schoolboys spent much of their time smoking cigarettes, reading erotic novels, and chilling out eyeing for girls.

The strict school headmaster A. Swaminathan ([[Vadivelu]]) has an authoritative stance. He makes their lives miserable and takes every opportunity that he has to sanction the students. One day, Bhagya attempts to commit suicide when Swaminathan humiliated her in front of the other students. Tired of Swaminathan's punishments, the students decide to get revenge on him. This led the students to take a radical decision, thus they hire the naive [[snake charmer]] Muniyandi, who looks exactly like Swaminathan, to act as the school headmaster. Thereafter, the students kidnap and sequester Swaminathan, the Tamil teacher, and Deepak's father.

The uneducated Muniyandi becomes the new headmaster; therefore the students do whatever they like during the classes. One night, Suja, Payal, Bhagya, and Karishma drink a lot of alcohol. The drunk girls then join the boys and fell asleep in their beds. The next morning, they wake up with a jolt and were just wearing towels. They suspect the boys for having sex with them when they were sleeping. Deepak swears that they only changed their clothes which were full of vomit, but the girls did not believe him. In the heat of anger, Ramesh, Eashwar (Eashwar), and Pradeep (Pradeep) decide to lose their virginity, so they hire a prostitute. The prostitute confessed that she did this for paying her little brother's studies and advised the boys to focus on studying. Later, the police raided the brothel and arrested the three friends. The boys are thereupon released from jail. Deepak and his friends free Swaminathan, and they all apologize to him for being so immature.

Meanwhile, Ramesh's mother Lakshmi ([[K. R. Savithri]]), who worked so hard for paying her son's studies, was so heartbroken that her son went to a brothel that she prepares a meal with which she poisons herself. During the school lunch break, Lakshmi usually brought the lunch and feeds her son Ramesh, but this time, she asks Ramesh to feed her. He feeds his mother, but after only a few bites of food, Lakshmi dies in his lap. Ramesh and the other students mourn the death of Lakshmi. Ramesh, who is deeply affected by her death, starts to behave like an insane person: he opens a book and starts studying.

== Plot ==
The story revolves around Maran ([[Kishore (actor, born 1974)|Kishore]]), who works in a bakery. He and his wife (Latha Rao) are searching for a house to rent. A shady broker ([[Scissor Manohar]]) gets Maran a house under his budget, but he has to face the sanctions of the house owner ([[Bala Singh]]) if he wants to stay in the house. The house owner will only allow a family of four, but Maran has three children, making it five members in his family, including him and his wife. ==Plot==
Surya Murthy (Nag) is the head of a village where he is highly respected by the entire village, except for the troublemaking Nazar. Surya Murthy stays with his grandfather (Satyanarayana) and grandmother and a 6-year-old girl Rani (Suhani). He has a younger look-alike brother Satyamurthy, aka Sathya (Nag again) in Hyderabad completing his engineering in computer science. Satya has a non-Telugu-speaking girlfriend Sri (Shehnaz). Satya has a worrying factor now. His elder brother Surya Murthy has decided not to marry in his life. Hence, Satya starts looking for a suitable bride for his elder brother. There he meets Vasundhara (Soundarya) at a temple and decides that she is the right choice for his elder brother. He approaches Vasundhara and asks her hand for marrying his elder brother. Later on, Vasundhara happens to observe the heroism and goodness in Surya Murthy when he comes to Hyderabad to meet Satya. Later on, Vasundhara comes to know that Surya Murthy and Satya are the younger brothers of the man who married her elder sister Bhavani. She tells Vasundhara that Surya Murthy played a villain role in their life and he was instrumental in her husband dying after prolonged boozing due to the compounding problems. She also tells that after her husband's demise, Surya Murthy forcibly took away her daughter Rani. After coming to know about her elder sisters flashback, Vasundhara decides to take revenge by marrying Surya Murthy and then slowly destroy the entire family. She accepts the proposal of Satya to marry his brother Surya Murthy. Then they start doing a drama by making Vasundhara stay in the village of Satya and creating situations where Vasundhara saves Rani from the perils. After the repetitive requests from his family members and Rani, Surya Murthy marries Vasundhara. The first step of Vasundhara after marriage was to postpone the first night by 22 days by bribing the priest. Then she transfers the money and jewelry to his sister's house with the help of a petty thief. But that thief runs away without giving jewelry to her sister and gets caught by the police. Meantime, Satya realizes the intentions of his sister-in-law Vasundhara and explains her the flashback of Rani and tells her that it was Bhavani who was a characterless lady. By the time Vasundhara realizes the fault in her, the thief was presented in the house of Surya Murthy and was interrogated as to who gave him jewelry. To save his sister-in-law, Satya behaves in a strange manner and tells Surya Murthy that he wants his partnership in the property. He says that he stole the jewelry and wants the thief to sell that off so that he can start his software business. With that incident, the brothers split. The rest of the film is about how the brothers get united and decimate the villain gang.

==Plot==
In a remote village, Murugan (Vinod Veera) and Latha (Sujibala) leave their village the same day but for different reasons. The news spreads like wildfire and the villagers jump into a premature conclusion that Murugan and Latha have eloped together.

In [[Chennai]], Latha meets her friend Deepa, she stays in a hostel and finds a job in an IT company. Latha doesn't want to marry her uncle Ganesan (Vijithran) who is a womanizer and a heartless loan shark so she has come to Chennai. For his part, Murugan comes across his old classmate Karuppu (Benjamin) who is a fraud scamming the aspiring actors. Murugan wanted to become a film director but his father Kumaresan Gounder ([[Dhandapani]]) who was a rich landlord wanted him to do a decent job. Murugan was sick of his father's scolding so he has come to Chennai. Murugan then becomes the assistant director of the popular director [[R. V. Udayakumar]]. Meanwhile, Latha's father Kalaiyan ([[Ponnambalam (actor)|Ponnambalam]]) and Ganesan are looking for them.

One day, Kalaiyan and Ganesan bump into Latha but she manages to escape from them. Latha then comes across Murugan and he accommodates her in his small lodge. Thereafter, Kalaiyan and Ganesan capture them. Back to their village, Murugan and Latha reveal to the villagers that they are not lovers. But deep inside their heart, they secretly love each other and they eventually decide to elope for real this time.
