In 1837, after [[Hari Singh Nalwa]]'s death in the [[Battle of Jamrud]], the Sudhan tribe of [[Poonch District, Pakistan|Poonch]] rose in revolt with other tribes and [[Pahari people (Kashmir)|Pahari]]-speaking people.
