Originally planned for a 2021 release, the series was advanced for a November 2020 release as the 13th edition of the [[Indian Premier League]] will end on this month.<ref name=":0" /> It is mostly due to the [[anti-Chinese sentiment]] prevailing in India after the [[Galwan Valley skirmish|Galwan Valley disputes]] happened in June 2020.
