The budget proposed a 10.0% increase in the salaries and pensions of [[Government of Pakistan|federal government]] employees and an increase in the minimum monthly wage from [[Pakistan Rupee|₨.]] 14,000 to [[Pakistan Rupee|₨.]] 15,000.
