ATK Mohun Bagan on 28 August 2021 officially informed the CFL organising body, Indian Football Association, that the club will skip the CFL Premier Division A 2021–22, due to the clash of AFC cup Inter-Zonal Playoff semi-finals occurring on 22 September 2021 with the CFL matches.
