On 24 September 2023, a 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped by an autodriver in [[Madhya Pradesh]]'s [[Ujjain]] district. The victim is now in hospital and is stable.<br />

The victim was a 12-year-old girl. On the morning of Sep 25, she walked around partially clothed and bleeding, seeking help for over two hours. A Hindu priest named Rahul Sharma spotted the girl near his ashram at 9:30 a.m. and gave her some clothes.
