* &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; [[Indo-Pakistani War of 1965]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;: Barely two years after raising, the regiment took part in operations at [[Barki, Pakistan|Burki]] near [[Lahore]] and in the [[Khemkaran]] sector. It maintained an incident free period in its area of responsibility and created an environment conductive for peaceful [[1992 Punjab Legislative Assembly election|assembly elections]].  &lt;br /&gt;
* &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Indian Army operations in Jammu and Kashmir|Counter insurgency operations in Jammu and Kashmir]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;: During its tenure in [[Jammu and Kashmir (state)|Jammu and Kashmir]] from 1993, the regiment won one Sena Medal and four GOC-in-C Commendation Cards.&lt;br /&gt;
* &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Kargil War|Operation Vijay]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;: The regiment was inducted into the [[Kargil]] sector in September 1999 was deployed in the [[Line of Control]]. [[Observation post]] officers destroyed enemy posts and a gun position across the line of control.&lt;br /&gt;
* &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[2001–02 India–Pakistan standoff|Operation Parakram]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;: The regiment which was located at [[Samba, Jammu and Kashmir|Samba]] from November 2001 was mobilised for the operation and destroyed an enemy post, an ammunition dump and an enemy battalion headquarters.&lt;br /&gt;
