[[Diwan Bahadur]] &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Sir Arcot Lakshmanaswami&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; , [[Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists|FRCOG]], [[Fellow of the American College of Surgeons|FACS]] (14 October 1887&amp;amp;nbsp;– 15 April 1974) was an [[India]]n [[educationist]] and [[physician]]. He was the identical younger twin brother of [[Sir Arcot Ramasamy Mudaliar]]. He pursued his education from the [[Madras Christian College]]. He later went on to become the longest serving [[Vice-Chancellor]] of [[Madras University]]&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{cite web|title=The Vice Chancellors|url=http://www.unom.ac.in/index.php?route=university/formervcs|publisher=[[University of Madras]]}}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; (for 27 years) and principal of [[Madras Medical College]]. He was also the Deputy Leader of the Indian delegation to the First World Health Assembly in Geneva in 1948.
