Aaditi Pohankar was born to Sudhir and Shobha Pohankar, both athletes.<ref name="thehindu"/> While in school, she represented [[Maharashtra]] in [[sport of athletics|athletics]] and won medals in [[100 metres]] and [[200 metres]] races.

==Career==
