==Early life and education==

He has completed his B.A. [[LLB]] from [[Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University|Nagpur University]] during which he was the general secretary of State [[National Students' Union of India]] (NSUI) from 1998 to 2002. He also served as the General Secretary and Spokesperson of the [[Nagpur district]] Congress Committee.
