In 2012, it organised [[Kashmir Literature Festival]], a first-ever [[Literary festival|writers' festival]] in the [[history of Jammu and Kashmir]] focused on [[Internationalization|internationalize]] the Kashmiri language and addressing the issues responsible for its decline in the region.
