In regional versions of the [[Hindu epic]] &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Mahabharata]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Ahilawati&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Ahilāvati&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;), also known as &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Mauravi&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Mourvi, Maurvi&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;) and  &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Kamkanthika&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, was the wife of [[Ghatotkacha]].&lt;br /&gt;

Ahilawati or Maurvi was the daughter of [[Mura (danava)|Mura]], the general of the demon [[Narakasura]]. The God [[Krishna]], along with his wife [[Satyabhama]], set forth to defeat Narakasura. First, Maurvi fought with Satyabhama. After Krishna killed Narakasura, he killed Maurvi&amp;#039;s father, Mura. Maurvi decided to avenge her father&amp;#039;s death. However, after realising the divinity of Krishna, she surrendered. Krishna consoled her by promising her that soon she would get married.&lt;br /&gt;
