'''Akividu''' is a town in the [[Akividu mandal]] in the [[Bhimavaram revenue division]] of the [[West Godavari district]] of the [[India]]n state of [[Andhra Pradesh]]. It is in between the twin cities of [[Bhimavaram]] and [[Eluru]] of [[Andhra Pradesh]].

==History==
[[Rajahmundry|Rajahmundry district]] was formed in 1823 and in 1859 bifurcated into [[Godavari District]] and [[Krishna district]]. Akividu railway station is categorized as a ''Non-Suburban Grade-5 (NSG-5)'' station in the [[Vijayawada railway division]] and is one of the busiest train stations.
