==Club career==
Das represented local clubs in Odisha before playing for SAIL club in the [[Calcutta Football League]]. He has also played for major clubs like [[Salgaocar FC|Salgaocar]] and [[Sporting Clube de Goa]] in the Goa league and has also played for [[United SC|Eveready SC]] and [[Mohammedan SC (Kolkata)|Mohammedan SC]].

Das represented the state team of [[Odisha football team|Odisha]] in the [[Santosh Trophy]] in the 2004, 2005 and 2008 editions.<ref name="akd" />

==International career==
Das was selected for the Indian youth team that toured Mauritius in 1999. Das was appointed the assistant coach of the [[Odisha football team|Odisha]] team for the [[2013–14 Santosh Trophy]] season and served under the head coach [[Rajendra Prasad Singh (footballer)|R. P.
