==Demographics==
As per the [[2011 Census of India|2011 census]], Alandurai had a population of 7,221 individuals across 2,004 households.<ref name="Census"/> The population saw a marginal increase compared to the previous census in [[2001 Census of India|2001]] when 7,130 inhabitants were registered. The population consisted of 3,547
