==History==
It was established in 1986. In 1989, the company set up its first polyester texturising plant. ==Retail==
Alok H&A Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Alok Industries Ltd. There are 250 store in India under the brand name H&A. Alok has a 91% stake in Grabal Alok (UK) Ltd, which had 210 stores under the brand [[Store Twenty One]].<ref name="bseindia.com"/>

Store Twenty One entered compulsory [[liquidation]] in July 2017, closing all stores.
