==Early life==

===Career in national politics===

In 2013 & 2018, Muqam decided not to contest from Shangla where he was elected twice in the past and tried on seats in Swat. He was defeated, However, his brother Dr. Ibadullah Khan got elected as Member of the National Assembly from Shangla. Ibadullah had been District Nazim of Shangla in the previous Govt.
In 2015 local bodies election of kpk, Amir Muqam son Niaz Ahmad Khan got elected as (District Nazim) of Shangla. Niaz Ahmad is the youngest District Nazim in kpk.
