Analjit Singh was born in New Delhi, the son of Bhai Mohan Singh and Avtar Kaur. His father was the founder of [[Ranbaxy Laboratories]]. Singh is founder of Leeu Collection, an international collection of boutique hotels in [[South Africa]] and [[Europe]].
