Anand Sinha studied physics at the undergraduate level. He obtained his master's degree in physics from the [[Indian Institute of Technology]], New Delhi.

==Professional career==
He was a member of the CGFS Working Group on Capital Flows to Emerging Market Economies. Shri Sinha served as director of Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Limited since 27 February 2006.
