He also attended Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. His doctoral thesis, ''The Concept of Imitation in Greek and Indian Aesthetics'' was submitted to Jadavpur University and was published by [[Rupa & Co.|Rupa & Co]]., Calcutta in 1977.<br />
