Andal has an average literacy rate of 75%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 81%, and female literacy is 68%. Andal (gram) covered an area of 8.8396&amp;amp;nbsp;km&amp;lt;sup&amp;gt;2&amp;lt;/sup&amp;gt;. Among the civic amenities, it had 15&amp;amp;nbsp;km roads with open drains, the protected water-supply involved overhead tank, tap water from treated sources, tube well, borewell. It had 2,000 domestic electric connections and 1,600 road lighting (points). Among the medical facilities, it had 1 dispensary/health centre.
