APSRTC was the first state transport system which uses Live tracking facilities for tracking of busses. == History ==
APSRTC was formed on 11 January 1958 as per ''Road Transport Corporations Act 1950''. Consequent upon [[Telangana movement|bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh state]] into Telangana and residual Andhra Pradesh, [[TSRTC]] is operated as a separate entity from 3 June 2015.[[APSRTC]] is working from Vijayawada (Pandit Nehru Bus Stand) as Headquarters for the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The organisation is divided into four zones with twelve Regional Managers.
