The '''{{IAST|Andhrabhṛtya}}s''' ([[Devanagari]]:आन्ध्रभृत्य) was an Indian dynasty mentioned in the [[Puranas]]. Lists of Andhrabhrtyas have been mentioned in various Puranas. They are mostly identified with [[Satavahana dynasty|Satavahanas]] which replaced the house of the [[Maurya]] in the [[Deccan Plateau|Deccan]] about 230 BC, reigning until the end of 3rd century AD. The designation ''{{IAST|Andhrajātiya}}'' or ''{{IAST|[[Andhra in Indian epic literature|Andhra]]}}'' is found in the Puranas which represents its founder as {{IAST|Bhṛtya}} or servant of the last {{IAST|[[Kanva dynasty|Kaṇva]]}} king. Sir [[R. G. Bhandarkar]] following the [[Vishnu Purana]] styles the dynasty founded by [[Simuka]] as Andhrabhrtya, i.e. Andhras who were once servants.<ref name=bhand>{{cite book|last1=Raychaudhuri|first1=Hemchandra|title=Political History Of Ancient India|date=2006|publisher=Genesis Publishing Pvt Ltd|isbn=9788130702919|pages=336}}</ref> But that designation is also applied to the seven {{IAST|[[Abhira tribe|Abhira]]}}s who are mentioned as the successors of the line of the Simuka.<ref name=abhira>{{cite book|last1=Pargiter|first1=F.
