The word Anjanathali is composed of two [[Sanskrit]] language root words, [[Añjanā]] (the mother of Lord [[Hanuman]] in the Indian epic [[Ramayana]]) and [[wikt:स्थल्|Sthal]] (place or abode), meaning ''the abode of mother goddess Anjana''.<br />
