Born in [[Dhanbad]], [[Bihar]], Dikshit graduated with a [[Bachelor of Technology]] [[academic degree|degree]] in [[computer science and engineering]] from [[Indian Institute of Technology Delhi]] in 1994. He completed schooling at [[De Nobili School, FRI]].
