Srikanth Srinivasa of &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Rediff.com|Rediff]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039; gave the film a rating of three out of five stars and praised the performance of [[Kishore (actor, born 1974)|Kishore]] as [[Veerappan]] in the film. Also, the role of the cinematographer was praised. Srinivasa concluded saying, &amp;quot;A M R Ramesh has made another visually captivating film, notwithstanding the flaws.
