Singh was born 7 October 1981 in Tegna, [[Mau district|Mau]], [[Uttar Pradesh]] to her father Shri Ravindra Nath Singh. She married Sarvesh Singh Sipu (Ex MLA of [[Sagri (Assembly constituency)|Sagri]]) in 2003.
