The '''Barrister Ranjit Mohanty Group of Institution (BRM)''' group of Institution was established in 2000 as BRM trust for providing education in computer science for school students for [[Government of Odisha]]. The BRM group of Institution was established in 2000 as BRM trust for giving computer education through the E-School Project of Government of Odsha. Then in 2001 it started its first in class education with diploma education. Then in 2002 it added BBA & BCA under [[Utkal University]]. Again in 2003 it started a 2-year full-time MBA programme under affiliation of [[Biju Patnaik University of Technology|BPUT]] & which was approved by [[All India Council for Technical Education|AICTE]]. Subsequently it added [[Master in Computer Application|MCA]], [[Bachelor of Technology|B. Tech]] & [[M. Tech.|M. Tech]] to its curriculum.

The institution is spread over 8 acres of land made beautiful with different buildings of different College blocks. It facilitates the students with different types of facilities. It provides a well campus as well as good hostels for the students living and a good study environment. Its environment is so tendentious towards study, because of the environment at the coast of a river called [[Kuakhia River|Kuakhia]] River. Also this institution can be good for road communication, because it is a kilometre from [[National Highway 5 (India)|N.H. no 5]]. But the rail communication is some type of not very easy from here as it is placed 14 km from [[Bhubaneswar railway station|Bhubaneswar Railway Station]] & 10 km from [[Biju Patnaik International Airport|Airport]].
