Basant Bhatt was born on 23 January 1994 in [[Nainital]], [[Uttarakhand]]. He rose to fame with the role in his debut show [[Suryaputra Karn]], directed by Kamal Monga and produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary where he played the role of young [[Karna]]. Later he played the role of Karna's son [[Vrishasena]] in the same show as the director wanted to cast a person who could match the intensity of [[Karna]].<br />

He has worked in many TV commercials and print shoots. He has also worked in some episodic TV serials like [[Crime Patrol (TV series)|Crime Patrol]]<br />

Basant is currently doing the main role in the [[Vighnaharta Ganesha]] as Lord [[Kartikeya]] aka Murugan on [[Sony TV]] and in [[RadhaKrishn]] as Lord [[Balarama]]/[[Sheshanag|Shesha]]/[[Lakshmana]] on [[Star Bharat]].<br />
