&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Bathwala&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; is a small village located on the west of [[Gurdaspur]], [[Punjab (India)|Punjab, India]]. It is also been known as village of exclusive Johal&amp;#039;s (also known as Sardaran Da Bathwala and Jattan Da Bathwala ).&lt;br /&gt;

The village was established by ancestors of Johal&amp;#039;s and landlord Jatt known as Nathu Shah Johal and later by his three sons.&lt;br /&gt;

== Sports ==&lt;br /&gt;
The Johal&amp;#039;s are also been famous to taking part in Sports. The foundation &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Youth Sports Club&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; was established by [[Member of Parliament]] and [[Actor|Film Actor]] Mr. Vinod Khana in 1997. They are continuously hosting cricket tournaments from past fifteen years and [[Bodybuilding|body building]] competitions in the area. Rather than sports they are also famous in Flok Dance &amp;#039; Bhangra &amp;#039;. They had several [[gold medal]]s in state level competitions.&lt;br /&gt;

The Vaisakhi is the most famous among the residents of Bathwala. It is celebrated as the birthday of Khalsa. &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;SHARDAI&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; and &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;GARRAKU&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (pakoras of spiritual Bhang leaves) are famous and popular on the occasion of Vaisakhi. Else than Vaisakhi, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Holi&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; the festival colours and &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Dewali&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; the festival of lights are the favorites among the people of Bathwala.&lt;br /&gt;
