&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Biren Nag&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (1922–1964) was an acclaimed [[India]]n [[film director]] and art director in [[Hindi cinema]].  Prior to taking up direction himself, he served as Art Director for four of the most beautiful films shot in Mumbai in the late 1950s and early 1960s: &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Pyaasa]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (1957) &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Kala Pani (1958 film)|Kala Pani]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (1958) &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Chaudhvin Ka Chand]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;  (1960); and  &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (1962). He won a 1960 [[Filmfare Award for Best Art Direction]] for his work on &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Chaudhvin Ka Chand]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;  (1960).&lt;br /&gt;
