He revolted in 1831 against the exploitation of British rule to avenge the exploitation of the British. He played a role. He tired the British and the landlords with his bravery and solidarity. Buli Mahato was arrested by the British police at village Jhunjhka in [[Purulia district]] and deported to the [[Andaman and Nicobar jail|Andaman Nicobar Jail]], where he died on 14 June 1834.<ref name=":1" /><ref name=":4" />
