Headquartered at [[Ernakulam district|Ernakulam]], [[Kochi]], this is the highest court in the Indian [[States and union territories of India|state]] of [[Kerala]] and in the [[union territory]] of [[Lakshadweep]].<ref name="hc">{{cite web|url=http://highcourtofkerala.nic.in/mra.html|title=Official|accessdate=}}</ref> Jayachandran was appointed as an additional judge of the High Court with effect from 20 October 2021.
