The &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Calcutta Stock Exchange&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;CSE&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;), located at the Lyons Range, [[Kolkata]], [[India]], is the  oldest  [[Government of India|government owned]] stock exchange in [[Asia]]. The exchange was founded on 1 December 1863 by sixteen leading stockbrokers, beginning life in rented premises on 11 Strand Road.
