His eyes form the opening sequence in [[V. Mohan later appeared as Emperor [[Jehangir]] in [[Sohrab Modi]]&amp;#039;s &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Pukar (1939 film)|Pukar]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;,&amp;lt;ref name=&amp;quot;Garga2005&amp;quot;/&amp;gt; as Randhir Singh in [[Mehboob Khan]]&amp;#039;s &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Humayun (film)|Humayun]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039; and as Seth Laxmidas, in [[Mehboob Khan]]&amp;#039;s &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Roti (1942 film)|Roti]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;.&lt;br /&gt;

One of his last appearances was in Ramesh Saigal&amp;#039;s 1948 film &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Shaheed (1948 film)|Shaheed]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;.&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{cite book |title=The Kaleidoscope of Indian Cinema |last=Mahmood |first=Hameeduddin |year=1974 |publisher=Affiliated East-West Press |pages=50 }}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; As Rai Bahadur Dwarka Nath, he played father to Ram, who was portrayed by [[Dilip Kumar]]. Mohan&amp;#039;s character in this film initially supports the British Government but later favors the Freedom Struggle. Chandra Mohan&amp;#039;s last movie was a religious movie &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Rambaan]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (1948), in which he played the role of the demon emperor Ravana.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He was the original choice to play the lead role in [[K. Asif]]&amp;#039;s &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Mughal-e-Azam]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, but due to his untimely death the film had to be reshot after ten reels were shot with him as lead.
