==History==&lt;br /&gt;
Chapra was the center of Missionary works of [[Meherpur District|Meherpur]] sub division of undivided [[Bengal]]. In 1839 the German Missionaries Rev. C. Cruckeberg and Mr. P. Ansorge started the missionary work at Chapra.
