The &amp;quot;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Chatta&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;quot; is of [[Jews|Jewish]] origin and the &amp;quot;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Mundu&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;quot; is of [[South India]]n origin. The &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Mundu&amp;#039;&amp;#039; used is 9.5 yards long. A creamish white cloth with a golden border known as the &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;quot;Kavani&amp;quot;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; or &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;quot;Neriyathu&amp;quot;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; is worn over the left shoulder and  tucked into the &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Mundu&amp;#039;&amp;#039; when the women are outside the house. Traditionally in the church the women cover themselves with another white cloth with a golden border &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;quot;[[Kasavu]]&amp;quot;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; which is worn over the head covering the head and the shoulders.
