He ran for the seat of the [[National Assembly of Pakistan]] as a candidate of [[Pakistan Peoples Party]] (PPP) from [[Constituency NA-159|Constituency NA-159 (Khanewal-IV)]] in [[2002 Pakistani general election]] but was unsuccessful. He is very strong Candidate of his Constituency just because of his best politics in Jahanian. He has a great fan following. He gave 5000 Electricity Projects, provided Sui Gas to more than Fifty Villages.&lt;br /&gt;
