This river joins with some streams to form Mangalam River. &#039;&#039;Mangalam river&#039;&#039; is the largest tributary of the river [[Gayathripuzha]] which itself is one of the tributaries of the river [[Bharathapuzha]], the second-longest river in [[Kerala]], [[south India]].
