Chevella is located in western part of newly carved [[Ranga Reddy district]] with co-ordinates {{coord|17.3067|N|78.1353|E|}}. It is at a distance of 30 km from [[Hyderabad]] and 28 km from [[Vikarabad]] 32km from [[Shadnagar]].

Chevella is a Town situated in Chevella mandal of [[Rangareddy]] district in [[Telangana]]. As per the Population Census 2011, there are total 1,559 families residing in the Town Chevella. Thetotal population of Chevella is 7,031out of which 3,553 are males and 3,478 are females thus theAverage Sex Ratio of Chevella is 979.
The population of Children of age 0-6 years in Chevella Town is 894 which is 13% of the total population. There are 463 male children and 431 female children between the age 0-6 years. Thus as per the [[2011 Indian census|Census 2011]] theChild Sex Ratio of Chevella is 931which is less than Average Sex Ratio (979) of Chevella Town.

Chevella Municipality is the civil body of the town on 05 sep 2018 the gram panchayats of Chevella, [[Pamena]], Devuni yerravally, Damargidda, Kesaram, Kandawada, Ibrahimpally and Mallareddy guda were merged to from Chevella Municipality.

Chevella [[gram panchayat]] is the [[Local self-government in India|local self-government]] of the village.{{fact|date=May 2018}} The panchayat is divided into wards and each ward is represented by an elected ward member. ==Crops==
The place is much suitable for harvesting [[carrot]]s (10-15 truckloads of carrots are transported to Hyderabad every day). Since Chevella is close to the city, farmers grow vegetables and flowers. In the recent years, the town has been hub to a lot of houses where flowers are grown. In addition, farmers grow other crops including [[tomato]], [[flower]]s and [[vegetable]]s, as well as [[rice]], ''jower'', [[cotton]], and [[corn]].
