In December 2021, it was announced that a sequel to ''Chhorii'' was officially in development. Tentatively titled ''Chhorii 2'', the sequel is set to pick up where the original film left off, with several characters returning to star. The film will be directed and written by Bomani J. On June 22, 2022, it was announced that Screen Gems had acquired the rights to Crypt TV's next feature film, currently titled ''Island of the Dolls.''
