==History==

==Expenditure==
BARSYL will be paid {{currency|2.52|INR}} [[crore]] for the detailed project report. The cost per kilometer has been estimated at {{currency|150|INR}} [[crore]].<ref name=MRTSTravel/> The project is expected to cost {{currency|2250|INR}} crore, half of which will be paid by the central government under the Urban Transport Planning scheme and the other half by the state government.<ref name=TakesOff/>

==Network==
The project will initially cover the 30 km between the Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. It will serve the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Urban Complex (BCUC).<ref name=TakesOff/>
