He was born to Dadi Jaggarao on 3 July 1950 in [[Gavarapalem]], [[Anakapalli|Anakapalle]]. He formerly worked as a [[Hindi]] teacher. He married Sekhari in 1970 and had 2 sons and 1 daughter.<br />

He was picked by [[N. T. Rama Rao|N.T.R]] for his party.
