In the [[Hindu mythology]], [[Dakshinamurti]] is an incarnation of [[Shiva]], the supreme god of knowledge. Dakshinamurti is an aspect of Shiva as a [[guru]] of all types of knowledge, and bestower of ''[[jñāna]]''.
