Rawat was born on 24 September 1977. Rawat is an IAS officer from the 2007 batch. == Awards and honours ==
Rawat received the National Award in 2019 for his work as a District Nutrition Mission officer. The award was presented to him by Union Minister [[Smriti Irani]].
