==Commonwealth Games Delhi, 2010==
Inaugurated on 15 July 2010, Delhi University Stadium hosted [[Rugby sevens at the 2010 Commonwealth Games|Rugby Sevens]] for the [[2010 Commonwealth Games]]. The stadium, spread over an area of 10,000 metres, also served as the training venue for netball, boxing, women's wrestling and athletics during the Games.

The Stadium is accessible via the underground [[Vishwa Vidyalaya (Delhi Metro)|Vishwavidyalay Station]] of the [[Delhi Metro]] railway. North campus of Delhi university lies on ring road of delhi. Regular DTC bus service is available for north campus and stadium.
