&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Devanakonda&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; is a village in the [[Devanakonda mandal]] in the [[Kurnool district]] of [[Andhra Pradesh]], [[India]]. It comes under [[Adoni revenue division]] revenue division. It is under Alur M.L.A and Kurnool M.P constituencies. In 1953, 11 [[Telugu language|Telugu]] speaking districts of [[Madras State]] became [[Andhra State]] with [[Kurnool]] as its capital.  In 1956, Andhra State and Telangana merged together to form [[Andhra Pradesh]]. Devanakonda is connected by road, as railway connectivity is currently unavailable. The state government runs [[Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation]] (APSRTC) buses through this village, connecting several destinations such as Kurnool, Pattikonda, Yemmiganur, Dhone, Guntakal and Hyderabad.{{citation needed|date=September 2020}}&lt;br /&gt;
