Colonel '''Dhani Ram Shandil''' (Retd) (born 20 October 1940) is an Indian politician. He is a member of the [[Indian National Congress]] political party. In 1999, he was elected to the [[13th Lok Sabha]] from [[Shimla (Lok Sabha constituency)|Shimla]] constituency in [[Himachal Pradesh]] as a [[Himachal Vikas Congress]] candidate. He was re-elected to the [[14th Lok Sabha]] in 2004 from the same constituency as an [[Indian National Congress]]. He is the MLA from Solan and previously served as Social Justice and empowerment minister in the Himachal Pradesh Cabinet.<br />

Dhani Ram Shandil have served elite Dogra Regiment of Indian Army and is Bharat jyoti award winner.
