According to Jain beliefs, he became a [[siddha]], a liberated soul which has destroyed all of its [[Karma in Jainism|karma]]. Dharmanath was born to King Bhanu Raja and Queen Suvrata Rani at [[Ratnapuri, India|Ratnapuri]] in the [[Ikshvaku dynasty]].
