== Early life and education ==
Thakur is from Dalhousie, Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh. He is the son of Kirpa Ram Singh. == Career ==
Thakur won from Dalhousie Assembly constituency representing [[Bharatiya Janata Party]] in the 2022 Himachal Paradesh Legislative Assembly election.
